The One Router TP-Link Setup
Getting Set Up: Your router & boosters from TP-Link
We have partnered with TP-Link to make the setup experience with The One Broadband as quick and easy as possible. Your router and boosters will delivered to your home address by courier, at least 2-days before your fibre installation date. You’ll get a tracking reference and link in your order confirmation email.
Definitions:
- Modem or ONT: This the white box on the wall installed by our fibre installation partners.
- Gateway or router: the device you connect to the ONT and set up as your main WiFi router.
- Booster: the devices you use to add to your network to extend the WiFi coverage.
Before You Start
- To ensure a seamless setup, please disable the Power-Saving mode on your phone.
- For iOS versions 14 and higher, granting the Aginet App permission to access the local network is essential for completing the configuration (Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network).
- Features available in Aginet App may vary by model and software version. All steps and images described here are only examples and may not reflect your actual experience.

Quick Set-Up Guide
- Our routers are configured before we send them to you to enable an easy installation.
- All you need to do is turn it on, plug it into the Modem (ONT) on the wall, and use the network name and password on the bottom of the device/box to log in on your devices.
- We recommend that you log into to the router on the browser or by downloading the Aginet App, to change your SSID and password, and to make the most of the routers features and functions.
- Or you can use any other device connected to the network to make changes via your browser by accessing tplinkwifi.net
- Tip: Reuse your existing network name (SSID) and password to avoid reconnecting devices.

STEP 1: Power Up the router
- Plug the router into the power socket and turn it on.
- Connect the provided ethernet cable from the router into the ONT (the modem device on the wall)
STEP 2: Connect your devices using the network name (SSID) amd password
- Use the SSID (network name) and password as provided on the sticker on the bottom of your router
STEP 3: Download the Aginet app onto your smart phone
- Download the TP Link Aginet app from the Apple App Store, or Google Play.
- Follow the instructions on the app.
